Attend our Annual Fundraising Dinner

The 27th Annual Fundraising Dinner was a great success thanks to our supporters! We are already anticipating next year’s dinner on April 27 2012.

Trees In Trust

Our latest fund-raising initiative, Trees In Trust, enables donors to pay for a mapped piece of forest which will then be dedicated in their name. With sizes to fit all budgets, Trees In Trust woodland makes an ideal gift or memorial. Corporate donors can use Trees In Trust to reduce their CO2 footprint and gain valuable publicity.

Bennett Birding Classic

Cedar Waxwing, PE

Help raise funds for the Trust’s programs while providing valuable information on PEI’s bird population!

Each autumn teams of enthusiastic birders spend nearly 24 hours in the field searching for as many species as possible. The teams themselves, Nature Trust Directors, staff and friends, all work beforehand to collect pledges either per species or lump sum. Results are reported to the Island Nature Trust and to the Natural History Society of PEI.

Work begins on this project every August and everyone is invited to form a team and to get out and find as many species as they can – for conservation!

Endowment Fund
We have established an Endowment Fund in an effort to secure some longer-term funding. Bequests, in memoriam donations and directed donations are allocated to the Fund. Once the Fund reaches a reasonable size, one half of the annual income may be used to support our ongoing conservation work.
