Invite Us to Your Community

Would you like staff to make a presentation for your class or event?

Our educational efforts include conducting annual public workshops; providing guest speakers for schools, community groups and special events; offering nature tours and school field trips and participating in local science and heritage fairs.

Project Web Foot

We work with Ducks Unlimited Canada to deliver the outdoor field trips for Project Web Foot on PEI. Grade 4 children hunt for “marsh monsters” and use binoculars to help survey for waterfowl, red-winged black birds and more in a fun, 2 hour event.

This is especially popular with elementary schools. Your class can “adopt an Eagle” and have a Nature Trust staff member give an informative in-class presentation on the life history of this majestic bird.

Nature Series Talks

A Nature Series of six to seven talks has been offered at Confederation Centre Public Library annually for a number of years, between November and April.  Topics range from Off-shore Islands to Halloween Wildlife.  Talks take place on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.  Be sure to check programming guides produced by PEI Public Libraries semi-annually. Inquire with your local librabry if you would like to have one of these popular talks in your community.
